I am a grad student studying Communication Studies but I may switch into Counseling. I love to write on the creative side, such as stories and song lyrics, which is another hobby of mine. I would love to become a song writer. As of now my main focus is on makeup.
I fell in love with makeup in junior high and in high school but I never could wear it. One day for Christmas, I asked for makeup. My aunt bought me this cheap makeup train case. The sponge brushes broke apart. The makeup was so cheap...the colors would not pop. Didn't know anything about eye primer, or paints or paint pots back then. I knew the eye shadows wouldn't stay on, or pop or last long. So I stopped playing with the train case. As eye shadows slowly disappeared or got lost and brushes broke apart or vanished, I didn't care. To me, that was not REAL makeup. Mind you, I was just a preteen or teen who never wore makeup before.
In 2009, after watching makeup videos on YouTube I fell back in love with makeup. It became a obsession because I was able to afford high quality makeup. I started slowly buying things that I needed. Now I have this small to medium large college that I need to start using. I am still learning. I know more than I did back in 2009. I bought two makeup books, a color wheel and been to Alexandra Butler's makeup class.
This is a blog where I showcase my makeup looks and show you how I apply on my makeup. Every one has different techniques or they copy those same techniques. I don't have a original technique yet. From watching me, hopefully you can learn about makeup. On this blog I will also talk about beauty, products, hair, fashion and music. I AM NOT A MAKEUP ARTIST. I AM NOT HERE TO SHOW YOU. We are here to learn together. Hopefully you can see me evolve into a makeup artist.
